Last week we brought you the Old school VW kombi, this week we introduce the new VW Transporter Rockton 2011.
Transporter Rockton is full size vans with standard Transporter with increased off-road ability. It is based on the recently facelifted Kombi variant and comes equipped with a Haldex-based four-wheel drive system with a differential lock on the rear axle as standard. But VW also offers buyers the other two options, marketing and protective packaging.
Powering the all-wheel drive Volkswagen Rockton is a 2.0 liter TDI engine with an output choice of either 140 PS (138 bhp / 103 kW) and 180 PS (178 bhp / 132 kW). Standard is a six-speed manual gearbox but special gearing can be had with the Expedition package option
